Certification of Integrated Management Systems in WALTER AIRCRAFT ENGINES is accomplished

WALTER AIRCRAFT ENGINES has successfully finished the three-year process of implementation and certification of Integrated Management Systems of Quality, Environment, and Occupation health & safety according to the requirements of the most demanding international standards.
The Quality Management System has already been certified according to the AS 9100 standard at the beginning of 2006 year, the certificates in the other areas (according to ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards) were released by Lloyd´s Register Quality Assurance on November 30, 2007.

“WALTER AIRCRAFT ENGINES has become one the first companies in the world, which was certified according to the new OHSAS 18001:2007 standard and the very first Czech aircraft manufacturer with certified System of management in all three areas. This way we have fulfilled our goal to be on the world top not only concerning the quality, but also concerning environment, and occupation health & safety“, stated Robert Dvorak, Quality, Environment, and OHS Manager of WALTER AIRCRAFT ENGINES.
